The mission of the Arab Orphan Committee began, and will continue, to empower outstanding and needy youth
AOC is a non-profit organization established in 1940 and registered in Amman-Jordan with operations in Jordan and Palestine. AOC endeavors to provide market-relevant vocational education, training and earning opportunities. Since its establishment, AOC has offered students Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) through its own industrial school located on its campus in East Jerusalem, as well as offering support to students through its student assistance program providing financial aid in Jordan and Palestine. Since its establishment, to date, AOC has helped over 30,000 students with educational grants, scholarships, vocational training, and job placements.
Despite successive wars and crises, the committee remains committed to the founders' vision when establishing the committee in 1940. The enduring mission is to empower underprivileged youth in Jordan and Palestine, enabling them and their families to attain a decent standard of living. This is achieved through providing education according to global standards, along with offering loans and educational grants that contribute to the development of communities.

AOC Programs & Initiatives
The student assistance program orphans and needy students to support in completing their education in universities and technical and vocational colleges.
Utilizing AOC existing campus in Jerusalem to establish a fully integrated tech ecosystem, making it the main hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in Palestine.
Building field training campuses inside the Gaza Strip. The initiative aims to empower Gaza youth and train them in the necessary skills to contribute to the reconstruction process, with a focus on the age group 15-18 years.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have been able, over the past seventy-five years, to empower our youth in Palestine and Jordan to overcome their challenging circumstances, pursue their education, and achieve their aspirations as the future generation in every corner of the world.
